Backed by 12+ years of people strategy experience that has encompassed performance coaching for all levels, cultural transformation, branding/rebranding, compensation, employee experience, project management, leadership development, organizational change, full-cycle recruitment, strategic planning, talent management, and designing and implementing workplace systems.

While my core expertise is rooted in technical human resources, business and organizational excellence, it is my practical operational experience that has profoundly shaped my style, energy and my own guiding principles that will serve as a rich learning resource for my thought partners.

  • Led a people team in delivering full-cycle people support to a network of 17+ restaurant locations across two provinces. Our strategic approach streamlined people processes, enhanced employee satisfaction, and ensured compliance with regional regulations, driving operational excellence and contributing to the success of the restaurant network.

  • Led the staffing and recruitment efforts for the successful launch of three new restaurants and 1 re-opening, overseeing the hiring strategy of 70-100 staff members over an intensive 8-week period. This involved strategic planning, coordination, and execution to ensure timely and effective staffing, contributing to smooth and efficient restaurant openings.

  • Delivered comprehensive full-cycle HR support, including on-site HR leadership at a remote northern Saskatchewan work site. Actively participated in and championed local and global HR projects, leading continuous improvement initiatives that resulted in significant operational enhancements. These efforts contributed to cost savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars, demonstrating a commitment to both global standards and bottom-line impact.

  • Directed the creation and implementation of comprehensive people policies and facilitated cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Spearheaded the development and roll out of an employee handbook and role-specific work instruction manuals. These initiatives were instrumental in ensuring operational continuity, streamlining succession planning, and supporting seamless staffing transitions.
